Mma

Here is the class where we can mix what we know. There is room for all styles and capabilities. The idea of mma is to be complete in all areas. To be competent in a striking situation (boxing/muay thai)

But also competent should the situation go from striking to grappling (bjj/wrestling). A true mixed martial artist trains in order to have an answer for most questions asked in a combat situation. One of the sayings here at Zilla Training is our journey of martial arts is “the pursuit of perfection knowing it cant be achieved” if this is your mentality you cannot fail ….simply improve.

Muay thai/Thai boxing

Come and learn the art of 8 limbs ! Muay thai, also known as thai boxing, is a martial art where you are permitted to use more than your hands for combat. Whether that is kicks, knees, elbows, or punches. There is a much wider variety of potential combinations which are both fun to learn and understand but also potentially devastating in a combat situation.

Boxing

The art of fighting with your hands good for balance, footwork and discipline. Boxing is a great way to understand how to use your body and how it works. With our boxing classes you can learn something new while keeping fit and having fun. Whether you want to compete or just want to find a new hobby, boxing classes at Zilla Training could be right up your street !

Wrestling/no-gi grappling (wearing gym clothing)

Wrestling is the art of taking someone down from standing …a very important skill to have if you plan on carrying out any form of grappling attack on the ground. No-gi grappling is a mix of a few styles of grappling (including bjj, sambo, catch wrestling, greco roman wrestling, submission wrestling etc)

We have both bjj and mma for kids. The kids are our future and what better way for your children to spend their time than having fun learning something new that could help them one day…. There are self defence and sport elements to both our mma and bjj kids programmes, making sure to get the best of both worlds.
