“2 years ago I was looking for a new gym just wanting to find a change of scenery and to get another view on the sport. I visited many gyms but as soon as I visited Zilla for me it was a no brainer.
Everyone was super friendly like a family something I hadn’t really seen when looking around.
Dayman I’ve known for many years and always knew he had such a great mind for all areas of martial arts. But since training with him it’s the detail and effort he puts into everything you do which sets him apart.
I now do the top membership and it’s brilliant unlimited training in all the available classes. My partners also now started doing personals with Dayman and as a complete beginner she’s absolutely loving it.
Couldn’t recommend Dayman and Zilla enough!”

“My son joined Dayman and Zilla training when he was just 15. Although as a parent I was very hesitant about it …MMA really?????
He couldn’t be in safer hands!!!
The quality of instruction and attention to individual growth is 2nd to none.
The whole squad are like family…no big egos ….and always ready to welcome and nurture younger members.
My daughter also now trains with Zilla training and also started at 15…..she’s the only girl In the squad and is well looked after by everybody.
It has been amazing for their fitness, mental health and general attitude.
Being able to train MMA, Thai and Bjj and boxing all under the same umbrella is just amazing for them.
I also have much confidence that my children would be able to defend themselves in a realistic situation should they need to ….priceless !!!!
Thankyou Dayman & Zilla Training.”

“I’ve known Dayman for over 10 years now he started off as a training partner and now teacher/coach he’s been there to talk to even out of training hours for stuff as well he’s always had time for me and everybody else that’s on his team. I would very much recommend training with the Zilla Squad, it is a massive family, no hatred or anything like that. If you want to teach your children some discipline and martial arts then Zilla Training is the one to go to os.”

“I met dayman through a friend and Jiu Jitsu training partner. As a man probably on the wrong end of my training career and with many persistent injuries sustained through martial arts and work. Dayman has still managed to make me a better martial artist through introducing techniques and methods of training that suit me. It’s a lovely club full of people with no egos who want to train and get better together. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Best coach I’ve ever had the privilege to train under.”

Since starting my martial arts Journey at a young age of 14, I fell in love with kickboxing and everything that came with the sport, after 3 years of training and competing in a handful of amateur events I was starting too outgrow the sport and found myself seeking more within the fighting world. One of my friends who also was involved with martial arts told me one day about a mixed martial arts club that he found which he had been too a couple of classes of and really enjoyed, he asked me to go with him one night for a session. As soon as I walked in everyone who was waiting for the class to start was so friendly, inviting and just generally happy to see a new Person at the club which really did help the nerves of meeting new people in a sport I’d never even considered before. After being introduced to Dayman I knew he had a massive knowledge of fighting, as the class progressed he would periodically watch me and give me intricate details on how too improve on technique that I had being doing the same way for years. After that first session I could not wait too step back into that gym and learn more about striking techniques, wrestling and jujitsu. Suddenly after feeling lost with a base knowledge I was able to expand into so many different areas of fighting I didn’t even know existed. 6 months into my jujitsu training Dayman suggested I compete in an grappling competition which saw me gaining 3rd place which showed me the true love I have for the sport. Nearly 3 years on with dayman, many competitions and with the help from everyone from the club I couldn’t be happier with the progress I’ve made. Meeting people who I had never met before ,who are now like brothers and sisters too me. I spend every second I have spare in the gym now working on a sport I truly fell in love with and that was all thanks too dayman and his knowledge, I’ll never be able to thank him enough for everything he was done for me and the squad!
If you have interest in martial arts, competing or even just trying to stay active and get fit. Zilla is the place for you and I would and do recommend our club to anyone.
Zilla training. This place is more than just a place to learn how to defend yourself or learn the multiple arts. It’s a place where you make bonds with people sometimes stronger than people you’ve known your whole life.
Dayman, head coach is more than a fighting coach too, he’s like a life coach. Through his teachings has taught me not only to hone my skills which I’d learnt from the other martial arts I’d done. But taught me new ones and turned me into a completely different fighter. In addition he has taught me how to train myself mentally and to #bethebestyou.
I couldn’t recommend this place any higher. The Squad is my family now.
